Hey everybody, Will here. Hope you’re all doing Hey everybody, Will here. Hope you’re all doing well. Today we’re putting out this lyric video for our song Ay Niño and I wanted to share a little back story with you about how it came to be. The song was written by David and Mo (who also produced the EP it is on). They’re from the band Los Abandoned based here in LA, and to us are basically legends. For me, I had always really admired everything they were able to accomplish as a band, and I’m probably the most jealous of them getting to play at Vive Latino and performing on the Late Night Show with Conan. It was such an honor for them to produce our first songs as the band Love Star. Besides the drums, basically the entire EP was recorded at David’s apartment since, as it always with bands, we were on a show string budget. They had Adriana even record the vocals in Dave’s closet. I feel like we’ve traveled a long road since then and learned a lot along the way, but those are memories I’ll always take with me. So thankful to them for helping us get this plane off the ground on this this crazy ride. With that said, we have a new song coming next month, and we’ll be sharing a lot more stuff between now and then. Hope you enjoy the video!
